Treatments

An hour that's entirely yours

Every SpiritSpud treatment is personal, unhurried and shaped around how you're feeling on the day. If you're not sure which would suit you, just send Alex a message. She'll happily talk it through with you, with no obligation at all.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage combines gentle, flowing massage with essential oils selected around how you are feeling on the day. Alex trained in massage with an aromatherapy specialism more than twenty years ago, and every session begins with a proper conversation about pressure, preferences, aromas you love (or don’t) and anything you would like her to know.

Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki

Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice in which the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body. It is traditionally used to clear stagnant energy, align the chakras and promote peace and rest. Sessions are shorter than a massage, usually around 20 to 30 minutes, and the experience is different for everyone: some people see soft colours or notice changes in temperature and gentle tingling, while others simply drift. There is nothing you need to do, believe or prepare; you stay fully clothed throughout.

Rather take the ritual home?

The signature blends carry the SpiritSpud experience into everyday life: hand-mixed oils for baths, pulse points and quiet moments, each named in proper Derbyshire.

A gentle note: SpiritSpud treatments are complementary wellbeing services, created to encourage rest and relaxation. They sit alongside, never instead of, advice and treatment from your doctor.

Ready to make a little time for yourself?

Send Alex a message about a treatment, a blend or the journal. There’s no obligation, and no question is too small.
